ABOUT
I am from Puerto Rico. I’ve studied violin, piano and guitar since I was 9 years old, and graduated from a high school specialized in music with honors. I am currently studying violin performance at the Puerto Rico Music Conservatory, and I am in my second year. Other hobbies I enjoy are cooking and composing music. After I graduate, I plan to do a Master’s degree in composition, probably online. I have also played with various orchestras including the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, the Puerto Rico Conservatory Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of Puerto Rico.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I’ve been offering private music classes for two years now, and I have taught violin, guitar and piano to many students.
TEACHING APPROACH
In an average lesson, I focus on teaching my student both technique and expression on their instrument. I enjoy talking about passion and extra musical aspects of the instrument, and I pride myself in having patience and taking my student at their own pace. Progress depends on the student’s dedication, of course, but I will fully compromise to motivate them and help them as much as I can.
