I have been teaching piano for 25 years, some of my students have continued to advance their music education in universities locally or abroad. I am able to teach the lessons in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and all levels. It gives me great satisfaction to see the improvement in my students.
For younger and beginner students, I try to build a strong foundation through technical work. For more advanced students, I will help them improve their understanding of the music and their tone quality. It is important for students to enjoy playing the piano, so my students will work on some mandatory pieces as well as works of their choice. I always try to incorporate sight reading into each lesson as it is an asset to have strong sight reading skills.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Italy and am pleased to have joined the Lecture Owl in 2020. After early studies in piano, I began classical guitar training at age 6, eventually expanding my education in guitar to include jazz, blues and rock. I have worked as a composer on several music projects, as well as financed a cinema degree in Paris with my jazz/electronic fusion project, Aiguille.

Ben Bullett Mortlock is a professional musician, educator and tutor.  With 10 years of experience in the music industry, performing, recording, teaching and writing he has built up an extensive resume. Ben has studied at one of the UK’s most known conservatoires, The Academy of Contemporary Music and became a lecturer for the academy at the age of 22.

Ben has industry experience, such as international performances and tours in pop (Kavana, Leanne Jarvis), rock, r&b, Neo soul, Funk, jazz, West end & international musical theatre (Cats, Rock of Ages, Tommy, Sister Act, Spring Awakening) he has developed a strong professional standard as a touring guitarist. As a recording session guitarist, Ben has contributed to TV soundtrack recordings and online recording sessions. As a content writer for guitar, he has contributed to a number of educational books, publications, and academic syllabuses.

Maritess is a registered teacher with a Master of Music Degree Major in Piano Performance.

Maritess Parcero - Ibon received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993 from Centro Escolar University, Bachelor of Music (Major in Piano Performance) degree in 1999 from the Santa Isabel College in Manila under the tutelage of a well-known coach, accompanist, and piano pedagogue, Professor Cecile Basilio - Roxas. She also holds a Master of Music Degree Major in Piano Performance in 2013 also from Santa Isabel College in Manila. Aside from Piano Performance, she also received training in Musicology, Marimba, Violin, Music Education, Asian Music, Composition, and Choral Arranging Technique. She also a Registered Nurse and a Registered Teacher.

Masters of Arts in Music with a background in Metal, Jazz and Classical.

I am a musician first and foremost, with a background in metal, jazz, and classical music. Over the past decade since my graduation from Essex University, I have worked as a composer, tutor, and session performer, in addition to occupying roles as a transcriber, producer and virtual orchestrator.

When I first meet a new student, I start be establishing what it is that they want to achieve from having music lessons. I then use this information to structure the lessons going forward, providing technical exercises and demonstrating the application of theoretical concepts within the framework of what it is that they want to learn, with the intention of developing the student's practical vocabulary and technical understanding of what they're playing.

Music Therapist with 8 years teaching experience and an International Bachelor of Music Degree.

I am an excellent music teacher with 8 years teaching experience; recorder, piano, vocal, choirs, accompaniment guitar, ukulele, theory, general musicianship. I tailor my lessons to the individual, students ranging from toddlers to adults. I also have a wealth of experience working with children and adults with additional and varied complex needs, so I can tailor and adapt lessons as appropriate. I am happy to all grades ABRSM/RIAM/LCM/VCM. I am a qualified Music Therapist so I enjoy incorporating music improvisation as part of my lessons too.

My Name is Randy Nashleanas and I'm a cellist from South Carolina, currently living in Medellin, Colombia. I've been playing the cello for over 18 years as well as teaching acoustic guitar for 4 years.
